    The Amen Break

This was on Boingboing a while ago, but I finally got around to watching it. It’s a pretty fascinating video on the Amen break, a 6 second sample from the late 1960s that spawned half a million hip hop beats, Jungle and Drum and Bass music and a whole bunch of other shit. The video isn’t the most visually engaging thing, but it’s the music that matters, man.

    Ch-check it out
