HA! Britttain is Just as Stupid as U S of A

In a poll released today by the BBC, new proof has been unearthed that Britons are easily as stupid as Americans, likely more. I mean, how stupid can you get? Only 48% find evolution plausible? That’s some stupid shit. So much for a “way better education system”. Just goes to show that America’s policy of stringing an education system toegether with mint dental floss, chewing gum and popsicle sticks is just as good as the UK’s whole “spending money on education” strategy. IN YOUR FACE YOU SUPERIOR FUCKS!

Perhaps *not* the best way to make friends and influence people given your proximity to these fair lands?

“Just under half of Britons accept the theory of evolution as the best description for the development of life, according to an opinion poll”

Not quite the same as your using the word “plausible” - Is that a result of American biased translation?

And as 22% went for the Creation route… What would a 2000 poll of Americans in the *wrong* state say?

Let’s not get into this? You’re going to loose, and let’s face it, it’s just not British to kick a man when he’s down.

I had quite an ethical conundrum in approving the above two comments. On the one hand, I’m not one to censor people. On the other hand, this person clearly missed the joke. Since the email looked fake I thought whomever left the comment hasn’t got much to lose, so I decided to go ahead and approve it. If you’re reading this, lighten up, buddy. I was clearly mostly making fun of Americans.

    Dearest Benjamin,

Never would I move to censor, nor would I ever (hopefully) miss the acrid tip of your poignant wit, but I must inquire, when has belief system (evolution, Christianity, conservatism, etc.) ever been a sign of intelligence, or lack there of? Just to play devil’s advocate.

    Love and cookies,

‘belief in evolution’ isn’t a religious allegiance. It’s intellectual honesty. Rejection of an extremely well-demonstrated scientific theory because of how you interpret a 2000 year old book bespeaks a lack of intelligence.

I’m with Benjamin on this. I think anyone who denies a belief in evolution is basically lying to themselves. I seriously think they are just antagonists that love provoking people.
