Greatest Comedy Sketches
I watched a show on the 50 greatest comedy sketches of all time when I was living in Ireland, and they were all from English teevee, which meant the list included 50 great sketches, and major, unacceptable omissions. Here’s a top 50 from nerve.com that seems a bit more ecumenical about bringing in sketches from all over the anglosphere. I’m not going to call it perfect (No Bay Lyfe? A travesty of justice!), but it’s way closer to the mark than a list that thinks the four yorkshiremen is the apotheosis of comedy. Not hating, just think we’ve come a long way, aight?
