    Things That Are Awesome

Jake Lefco VidHere’s a couple of awesome things. This weekend I directed my second music video! The artist, Jake Lefco, is a really talented Philly-based rapper. He’s getting ready to release his second album, the follow up to “And You Are?” which I think is probably one of the best albums I’ve ever heard that got slept on as hard as it did. The video will hopefully debut all over the place, including this part of the internet, when the new album drops.

AwesomeAlso, I got a letter in the mail the other day, and I couldn’t figure out who in Los Angeles could be sending me anything. Then I opened it and found an awesome The Sound Of Young America sticker in there. It went right on the back of my computer, right below my Jake Lefco sticker and to the left of my Oakland sticker. Anyways, watch this spot for the video to drop in a little while. Holler back!

    The Dane Cook Project

I’ve started a new blog I’m calling “Comments on Dane Cook.” The premise is simple. I post a clip of Dane Cook from YouTube, then I post some choice comment or cluster of comments from the thread of responses to that clip.

    Intervalometer

I’ve been feeling weird that I have my own camera, but usually have to rely on others to use it well. In this spirit I have been getting into the nitty gritty of making it do things. Here’s today’s experiment:

    New Hotness

Just decided to redo my website on a whim. I simplified a lot of it, made a proper movies page, used a nice new theme with some nice new tricks, killed some old, dead links, lost the angry picture and threatening title, and did some other things. I hope you like it, mysterious reader!

P.S. Stop being so mysterious. Something like 120 people visit this site every day?! Who are you? Holler at me in the comments. I’m dying to know.

The Further Adventures of Fats Planet, Episode 1

Here’s the first episode from my project The Further Adventures of Fats Planet.

    Book Publishing

As people who come to this site might know, I am currently writing a novella. I’m not sure if it will ever hit the printed page (ther than the reams of paper my father prints out at the office so that he can read the story on the train), but one path I’m considering, and that I thought might be interest others, is self-publishing through a company called Spire Publishing.

I know next to nothing about publishing, so a company like this could be really cool. They would sort of hold my hand through the whole process and doing the parts the I can’t do. Sweet!
